Club Policies

Referrals

Special Offer: The referrer will receive a $83 ball machine session for each friend you bring in! which can be used to purchase any packages (Tennis Lessons, Ball Machine and Simulator Rental. Limited quantities are available on a first-come, first-served basis)

Check in

  • Check-in and payment are required before play and classes.
  • A government issued ID is required.
  • Suggest 5-10 minutes before your scheduled court time for check-in at the front reception desk.
  • All players on the court must have complete profiles and must check in before entering the courts.

Code of Conduct

  • Check-in and payment are required before play.
  • All players on-court must be checked in at the front desk to gain access to the site.
  • Please do not walk on the court until the designated time of play.
  • The use of courts beyond the assigned time will be subject to charge.
  • Court fees are charged at the time of booking. All open court time bookings are final. No credits or refunds once the court has been booked. Court time used beyond booked time will result in additional charges for the extended time on the court. Club house is limited to a max of 4 players. A limited number of indoor spectators, guests, or visitors are permitted on-site at this time.
  • Liahan Tennis reserves the right to cancel court time or program participation for any cause deemed appropriate at the sole discretion of Liahan Tennis management.
  • All play is at your own risk.
  • Use of foul, abusive, offensive, or inappropriate language, gestures, or other conduct, and any other inappropriate behaviour, with or towards other guests, players, and Liahan Tennis staff will not be tolerated.
  • Proper court etiquette is expected at all times.
  • Proper sporty wearings including apparels and shoes are suggested to be worn on the court at all times. The shoe types must not be high-heel, loafers, slippers, boots and the others like the types mentioned above. Photography or videotaping is not permitted without express written permission from Liahan Tennis management.
  • Liahan Tennis is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
  • Lockers are for day use only. Items left overnight in lockers will be subject to daily removal.
  • Tennis instruction may be given only by Liahan Tennis professional staff.
  • No baskets, hoppers, or carts are allowed on the court unless used by Liahan Tennis professional staff. Players on the court may only have a maximum of 6 balls on the court during play.

Dress Code

  • Appropriate Tennis Attire is required on the tennis courts, including tennis-specific shoes with non-marking soles and clothing designed for the sport.
  • Footwear should consist of tennis shoes with non-marking soles, while running shoes, sandals, or street shoes are not permitted.
  • Players must wear suitable tennis shirts and shorts, skirts, or athletic attire, with shirts featuring sleeves and appropriate upper body coverage.
  • Proper hygiene and the use of clean clothing are expected to provide a comfortable atmosphere. Clothing with offensive or inappropriate graphics, slogans, or images is not allowed, as we promote a respectful and inclusive environment.
  • Our dress code upholds non-discrimination principles, ensuring that all members and guests are treated with equal respect and courtesy.
  • Individuals who do not comply with the dress code may be asked to change their attire before playing.

Tennis Shoes

  • We require that all members, guests and players wear real tennis shoes to diminish the risk of injury.
  • The shoe types must not be high-heel, loafers, slippers, boots and the others like the types mentioned above. Tennis shoes are designed to provide grip, cushioning and stability during complex dynamic movements on the court.
  • Tennis shoes require white soles.
  • We reserve the right not to allow a member or guest to access the playing area if that person is not wearing proper tennis shoes.

Instruction

  • Tennis Instruction may only be given by Liahan Tennis professional staff.
  • No baskets, hoppers, or ball carts are allowed on the court unless being used by Liahan Tennis professional staff.

Privacy Policy

  • All court and class bookings are final.
  • No credits or refunds once the court has been booked within 48 hours till time booked.
  • Court fees and classes are charged at the time of booking.
  • Please review your cart carefully before proceeding to payment.
  • Court time used beyond booked time will result in additional charges for the extended time on the court.
  • Club house is limited to a max of 3 players and a max of 2 players is limited to per ball machine.
  • A limited number of indoor spectators, guests, or visitors are permitted on-site at this time.
  • The court and class fee for reservations will be charged in full to the same credit card used to hold the reservation. Only full payment for the value of the court can hold a reservation.
  • Split payments and alternate methods of payment at the time of check-in are not permitted.

Photography, Recording, and Filming Policy

The purpose of this Photography, Recording, and Filming Policy is to establish clear and strict guidelines for the use of photography, recording, and filming within the Club. This policy aims to protect the privacy, safety, and reputation of our members, guests, and staff while ensuring a professional and respectful environment. The policy is designed in accordance with applicable laws in the State of New York.


This Policy applies to all members, guests, visitors, contractors, and any other individuals present on the Club’s premises, including indoor and outdoor areas such as courts, locker rooms, lounges, dining areas, parking lots, and any other facilities owned or operated by the Club.


General Policy Statements

  • The Club maintains a professional and respectful environment and expects all members and guests to uphold these standards.
  • Unauthorized photography, recording, or filming that infringes upon the privacy, safety, or reputation of others is strictly prohibited.
  • Members and guests must obtain prior authorization from Club management before engaging in any photography, recording, or filming activities within the Club’s premises.
  • The Club reserves the right to modify or amend this Policy at any time. Members and guests will be notified of any changes accordingly.


Permitted Activities

  • Members and guests may take photographs or videos for personal use, such as capturing memories of their time at the Club, provided they do not infringe on the privacy or rights of others.
  • Limited audio recordings for personal use are permitted, provided they do not infringe on the privacy of others.
  • Photography, recording, and filming may be permitted during official Club events, tournaments, or activities when prior written consent has been obtained from the Club’s management.
  • Media personnel (e.g., journalists, photographers) may be granted access and permission for coverage of official events upon prior arrangement with Club management.


Prohibited Activities

  • Any photography, recording, or filming intended for commercial purposes, including advertising, promotion, or resale, is strictly prohibited unless explicit written permission is obtained from the Club’s management.
  • Photography, recording, or filming in locker rooms, restrooms, changing areas, or any other areas where individuals have a reasonable expectation of privacy is strictly prohibited.
  • Attempting to photograph or record individuals in these areas will be considered a serious violation and may result in immediate expulsion from the Club and potential legal action.
  • Members and guests are prohibited from posting photographs, recordings, or films taken within the Club’s premises on social media platforms without prior authorization from Club management.
  • Any unauthorized posting that misrepresents the Club, its operations, or its staff will be subject to disciplinary action.
  • Members and guests must not engage in behavior that harasses, intimidates, or invades the privacy of others through photography, recording, or filming.
  • Persistent attempts to capture images or recordings of individuals who have expressed discomfort or objection are prohibited.


Consent and Permissions

  • Before photographing, recording, or filming any members or guests, individuals must obtain explicit verbal or written consent from the person(s) being captured.
  • Consent must be informed, meaning individuals understand how their images or recordings will be used.
  • For commercial use or publication, a written release form must be signed by the individual(s) being photographed, recorded, or filmed, granting permission for the specified use.
  • All commercial photography, recording, and filming must be approved by the Club’s management in advance. Unauthorized commercial activities will result in disciplinary action.


Privacy Consideration

  • Members and guests are entitled to reasonable privacy. Even in public areas of the Club, individuals should not expect complete anonymity.
  • Avoid capturing images or recordings of individuals in situations where they have a reasonable expectation of privacy, such as during personal conversations or in secluded areas.
  • Members and guests must ensure that any photographs, recordings, or films posted on social media do not contain defamatory statements or misrepresent the Club, its operations, or its staff.
  • Defamatory content includes false statements that harm the reputation of the Club or its members.
  • Members and guests may be held liable for defamation if they publish false and harmful statements about the Club or its members. The Club reserves the right to pursue legal action in cases of defamation.


Enforcement and Consequences

  • Any member or guest found violating this policy will be subject to disciplinary action, which may include suspension or termination of membership, expulsion from the Club, and potential legal action.
  • The Club reserves the right to confiscate any unauthorized recording or photographic equipment and to ban individuals from the premises.
  • Members and guests are encouraged to report any violations of this Policy to Club management immediately.
  • Reports will be handled confidentially and investigated promptly.
  • The Club reserves the right to pursue legal remedies against individuals who unlawfully photograph, record, film, or post defamatory content related to the Club.


Exceptions

  • Club officials and staff may have additional permissions to photograph, record, or film for official purposes. These activities must still respect the privacy and rights of members and guests.
  • In cases of emergencies, photography, recording, or filming may be necessary for safety and security purposes. Such actions should be conducted by authorized personne

Equipment

Members are required to bring their own tennis rackets and appropriate tennis attire for play. Liahan Tennis Club offers equipment rental services, including tennis rackets and tennis ball machines. Members and guests can rent equipment subject to availability and rental fees. Members and guests are expected to treat all equipment with care and respect. Any damage resulting from misuse or negligence will be the financial responsibility of the user. Rental equipment should be returned promptly after use, following the guidelines provided by the club staff. Failure to return rented equipment in a timely manner may result in additional rental charges.

All equipment owned by Liahan Tennis Club must be handled with care. Rough handling, banging rackets, or misuse of ball machines can lead to damage. Members and guests are encouraged to report any equipment damage or malfunctions promptly to the club staff. Timely reporting allows for the proper assessment and repair of equipment. The club reserves the right to charge members or guests for repairs or replacements of equipment damaged due to negligence, improper use, or mistreatment.

Scheduling

Scheduling and cancellation policies vary depending on the type of membership. 

Refund

No refunds will be issued for session purchases, as all sales are deemed final and non-refundable, unless required by applicable law. Sessions hold no cash value, are non-transferable, and cannot be passed on to others. They are not to be considered as gift cards or certificates. Sessions must be utilized within the membership term, and any unused sessions at the time of membership cancellation are non-refundable, except under specific circumstances outlined in the Membership Agreement. Please be aware that the programming and results of Liahan Tennis may vary among individuals, and specific outcomes are not guaranteed. In the event of a membership expiration with remaining classes, these will revert to their original price, and customers are responsible for covering the price difference. 

Guest Policy

Members are welcome to bring guests to play at the club, but guests must adhere to the same dress code and club rules as members. A nominal guest fee may apply.

Amendments to Policy

Liahan Tennis Club may update or amend this policy as necessary. Members will be notified of any policy changes.
