Training Level Course Selection

Complete Beginner - 1 session: Reserved for newcomers to the sport.

Intermediate Beginner - 3 to 5 sessions: Designed for players to consolidate fundamental and basic skills. 

Advanced Beginner: For players refining their skills and techniques.

Ball Machine: continuous hitting with a ball machine helps Improve shot stability, accuracy, and reinforce correct technique

Simulator - Competition, Training, Game Mode: advanced high Tech equipment provides instant feedback on factors like ball speed, spin, and accuracy, helping players understand their strengths and weaknesses in multiple test scenarios.


PASS USAGE POLICY


Packages, are non-refundable, non-transferable, and for personal use only.

Both Ball Machine and Simulator rental service must be reserved by ONE student account for their OWN practice. Each student is permitted to bring ONE accompanying guest. The maximum number of users per machine is limited to TWO.

Each student is required to use their OWN account for class bookings.


General Booking: class & rental service bookings must be made through Mindbody to ensure consistency and accessibility for all students.


Customized Scheduling Service: additional to Mindbody, 1v1 private lessons offer a personalized scheduling service, allowing for tailored arrangements to best fit the student’s needs.


Advance Booking Requirement: All 1v1 private lessons must be scheduled at least 4 days in advance to ensure adequate preparation by both the staff and the student.



Due to high demand for classes, we strongly recommend scheduling your lessons well in advance to ensure availability for your preferred times.

Waitlist Policy

Automatic Enrollment from Waitlist: In the event of a cancellation by an enrolled student, the next student on the waitlist will automatically be enrolled into the class. This ensures that class slots are efficiently filled. If you join the waitlist and then do not want to attend the practice, please remove yourself from the waitlist.


Waitlist Closure: The waitlist will close 6 hours prior to the scheduled start of the class. This policy is designed to provide all participants with adequate notice to prepare for their class session.



TRIAL SESSION POLICY


Trail session are ONLY open to the person who is visiting us for the first time. As long as your ID is not registered in our system, you can use the trial promotion. But if it’s the second time, we are afraid that we may have to cancel your appointment.

Ball Machine & Simulator Policies

Court Usage: The ball machine is designed for use by up to two players at a time. For safety and optimal experience, we ask that no more than two players occupy the court simultaneously.


Coaching Policy:  Unauthorized coaching is NOT PERMITTED on the premises. If it appears that coaching or teaching is taking place, we reserve the right to kindly ask you and your partner to leave the club.


Machine Care: To prevent damage, please AVOID hitting balls into the ball machine's feeding mechanism. Any damage to the machine will result in repair charges ranging from $500 to $2,000, depending on the severity.


Machine Adjustments: For your convenience and safety, please AVOID adjusting the ball machine yourself. Should any adjustments be necessary, our front desk staff will be happy to assist you :) Unauthorized adjustments that result in damage will incur repair charges ranging from $500 to $2,000.


Footwear: We kindly request that all players wear non-marking shoes while on the court to maintain the quality of our playing surfaces.

Cancellation Policy

Proactive Booking Recommendation

Cancellations must be made no later than 24 hours prior to the scheduled lesson time. Please manage cancellations through your Mindbody account, or by contacting the club directly.


Any cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled lesson will incur a charge at the full rate of the lesson, as these are considered "Late" cancellations.


Responsibility for Delays: Please note that Liahan Tennis is not responsible for any delays caused by transportation issues, including but not limited to PATH trains, subways, buses, trams, taxis, and bicycles.

Clients are encouraged to plan accordingly to ensure timely arrival for scheduled sessions.


Kids Lessons are scheduled at a fixed weekly time.

Exception allowances: 

    10 lessons: 1 exception, 

    20 lessons: 3 exceptions, 

    40 lessons: 7 exceptions, 

    80 lessons: 15 exceptions.


To use an exception, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled lesson  to avoid losing the session. For rescheduling, please contact the front desk for available times. Make-up lessons must be completed within the current term or carried over to the next term.

Proactive Booking Recommendation

Due to high demand for classes, we strongly recommend scheduling your lessons well in advance to ensure availability for your preferred times.


PACKAGE UPGRADE POLICY


One-time Upgrade Opportunity: Each client is entitled to a single package upgrade, which must be completed within the first three lessons of their initial purchase.


Upgrades may be made either to a package with the same number of sessions but a smaller group size, or to a package with a greater number of sessions.


Limitations on Upgrades: After three lessons have been completed, clients who wish to change their package will need to purchase a new package rather than upgrade their existing one.



PACKAGE EXPIRATION POLICY


The expiration period since purchased as follows:

  1 session expires in 25 days

  5 sessions expires in 1.5 months

  10 sessions expires in 3 months

  20 sessions expires in 6.5 months

  40 sessions expires in 15 months

REFUNDS AND TRANSFERABILITY

Packages, sessions, passes, and other prepaid services are intended solely for the designated participant enrolled at the time of purchase and may not be shared, alternated, divided, sold, transferred, assigned, or used by any other individual except as expressly permitted under this policy.


Siblings, family members, relatives, or other participants under the same parent or guardian are considered separate participants and may not share, alternate, divide, or jointly use the same package, session, pass, or prepaid service unless expressly approved in writing by Liahan Tennis.


Unless otherwise required by applicable law, all approved transfers, refunds, account credits, package conversions, or other adjustments involving value calculations shall be subject to the same Session Revaluation Schedule to ensure consistent and equitable treatment across all accounts. All transfer or refund requests must be submitted prior to the package expiration date.


Package transfers are an exception and not a standard package benefit. Under limited circumstances, a transfer request may be submitted for management review. Supporting documentation is required, and submission of documentation does not guarantee approval.


Eligible Circumstances for Transfer

1. Medical Condition

A participant is unable to continue participating in tennis activities due to a medical condition.

Required documentation:

  • A letter or medical note issued by a licensed healthcare provider;
  • Documentation must clearly indicate that the participant is unable to continue participating in tennis activities for an extended period of time.

2. Relocation

A participant permanently relocates or experiences a work-related relocation that substantially limits their ability to continue attending classes or utilizing services at Liahan Tennis.

Required documentation may include:

  • Proof of new residence;
  • Employment relocation documentation;
  • Lease agreement;
  • Utility bill;
  • Employer-issued relocation letter;
  • Or other documentation deemed acceptable by management.

3. Other Exceptional Circumstances

Requests based on circumstances not specifically listed above may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of management. Approval is not guaranteed.


Transfer Request Requirements

  • All transfer requests must be submitted prior to the package expiration date.
  • Liahan Tennis reserves the right to request additional supporting documentation.
  • Requests may be denied if documentation is incomplete, unverifiable, inaccurate, or fraudulent.
  • Approved packages may only be transferred once.
  • Transferred packages, sessions, passes, and prepaid services are not eligible for refund, further transfer, exchange, account credit, or cash redemption.
  • All transfer determinations are subject to management review and final approval.


Session Revaluation Schedule

For purposes of determining the remaining package value, completed sessions or utilized services shall be recalculated based on the actual number of sessions or uses consumed:

Remaining Package Value Calculation

Remaining Package Value = Original Amount Paid − Recalculated Value of Services Used

Where:

Recalculated Value of Services Used = Actual Sessions / Uses Consumed × Applicable Rate


Transfer Processing Fee

Approved transfers are subject to a processing fee equal to 17% of the Remaining Package Value.

Transferable Value = Remaining Package Value − Processing Fee


Additional Terms

  • Complimentary sessions, promotional sessions, bonus sessions, referral rewards, compensation credits, membership benefits, and any other non-purchased services have no cash value and are not transferable.
  • Unless otherwise approved in writing by management, the original package expiration date shall remain unchanged after transfer.
  • Liahan Tennis reserves the right to deny any transfer request that does not satisfy the requirements of this policy.
  • Liahan Tennis reserves the right to interpret and administer this policy at its discretion.
  • In the event of a conflict between this policy and applicable law, applicable law shall govern.
